Health Promotion Forum of New Zealand (HPF) is co-hosting the 2019 World Conference on Health Promotion with IUHPE (International Union for Health Promotion and Education).

The conference is a great opportunity for all public health and health promotion colleagues and institutions to network,  gain knowledge and share their research findings and professional experience with 2,000 colleagues from around the world.

The theme “Waiora: Promoting Planetary Health and Sustainable Development for All” is very apt and timely, given the range of global  challenges – environment, economy, ethical governance & leadership, equity & equality, and sustainable development– to name a few, that we are all being confronted with in our common home, planet earth.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is the framework for the conference.

We have world champions of public health, health promotion and planetary health, such as Sir Michael Marmot, Professor Fran Baum, Professor Anthony Capon, and Sir Mason Durie, as key note speakers
