A reminder that the 2019 NZCPHM ASM will be held in Auckland, 11 – 13 September. The overarching theme for this year’s conference is ‘Enhancing Public Health in the Pacific Blue Continent’.

We are pleased to announce that the Hon Jenny Salesa will be opening the conference (subject to being granted leave from the House).

We also have some exciting guest speakers including Dr Aumea Herman, who will be giving the George Salmond Oration, Dr Colin Tukuitonga and Dr Paula Vivili from the SPC, Dr Corina Grey and Debbie Ryan!

This will be a great opportunity to meet with Pacific colleagues, and to consider issues relating to public health in the Pacific, and the health of Pacific people in New Zealand.  

Thank you to those who have already submitted your abstracts. We still have some presentation spaces available so are extending the deadline for submissions of abstracts until Monday, 15 July.  Please get your abstracts in!
