PHANZ Public Health Conference 2025 Postponed

The PHANZ Public Health Conference 2025, which was scheduled to take place at the University of Auckland, Tāmaki Makaurau from 26–27 November 2025, has been postponed until 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. The current pressures across the public health sector have been an important factor in our consideration. We want to ensure the conference is delivered in a way that allows for full participation, connection, and collaboration - values at the heart of our public health community.

The PHANZ Public Health Conference 2026 will now be held online, during Global Public Health Week, on Tuesday 7 April and Wednesday 8 April 2026. We believe this format will help ensure the event is inclusive, accessible, and engaging for everyone across Aotearoa and beyond.

All registered participants and presenters from the postponed 2025 conference will receive full refunds, which are being processed automatically - no action is required.

Speakers will be invited to participate in the 2026 online event, and we will confirm exact speaking slots early next year as we adapt the program for a virtual format.

We sincerely thank all attendees, presenters, partners, and service providers for their continued support and understanding. Further updates, including program details and new submission opportunities, will be shared via the PHANZ website and our social media channels.
